Summer has come and gone in a whirlwind, and we apologize for not keeping all of you updated. Here are a few updates since we last posted:
We have been in and out of the hospital several times these last couple months for Charlotte. She has continued to experience seizures and had another UTI; one seizure had her air-lifted to the hospital again. Thankfully, for the most recent episodes she has experienced in the last couple weeks, we have been able to treat her from home.
Charlotte’s ability to void on her own has returned completely and we no longer need to cath her daily; we are so grateful God granted our request for her to independently void. It’s such a big answer to prayer!
Charlotte’s urinary imaging exam could not conclusively tell whether her urine was backflowing into her kidneys. The doctors still think she might tend to have many UTI’s because of kidney infections, so another test will be required.
We are currently seeking in-home aid and/or nursing services for Charlotte to grant her ease-of-living and better home care. We are praying that God will open doors as we explore this avenue because we were unsuccessful in the past.
Again, thank you all for praying for our family. We believe God hears each prayer lifted up; we feel our home being filled with peace and joy. The outpouring of love through messages, cards, gifts, and meals has been an overwhelming blessing to our family. Thank you so much. God is always good.
Maureen has filled us in on Charlotte and Sophie. My church church triumphant of short gap West Virginia has been praying fervently for your girls. My wife and and Maureen our cousins again we’re glad to hear the news we will continually pray for both of them and your family as well. God bless your family.
