“Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness. (Psalm 150:2)”
Charlotte’s breathing tube is out, and she is breathing on her own!
We are rejoicing over this wonderful answer to prayer and thanking God for this small victory tonight. Still, in our own weakness, we marvel that God answered this prayer so quickly, and yet we are not surprised at His faithfulness. Truly, He is always good!
The sedation continues to wear off and we are seeing small movements from Charlotte; she hasn’t opened her eyes yet, but we pray she will soon. We offered Charlotte her pacifier, in hopes she would suck, but she was not able to; when she can suck, she can take her formula through her bottle again.
Tomorrow, they plan to transfer Charlotte from ICU over to the neurology unit. She is running a fever tonight, but they don’t know what the cause is yet, so the nurses are keeping a close eye on her.
Thank you all for the prayers, sweet comments and messages, and shares! God is using you all to be tremendous blessing to our little family! We have experienced overflowing grace and joy during this difficult time with Charlotte. God bless you all!
